All of the Literacy!
The history of my life long conquest in literacy and its daunting task of constant change and reflection
It is a strange and unique track in my life to figure out my travels in the world of literacy. It is not something I thought that I would be revisiting or even contemplate thinking about as it is a natural process that I have grown with, just like age itself. Retracing the steps from my past and the first word I ever uttered to the present and writing lengthy research papers on sexual repression in the Victorian Era and how it correlated with Bram Stoker's Dracula is a process that will take time and effort, but hopefully you will all enjoy and come along for the ride. The excitement ensues as I will discuss wonderful and enticing times of learning how to write and the achievement I was lucky to have, followed by the struggles with the tiring process of writing and editing papers, and the amount of time it has made me feel like tearing off my hands and saying WHAT IS THE POINT AND PURPOSE OF THIS NONSENSE!?!
All in all, writing has been something I have had to work on to move forth in my educational career, and I am extremely happy that I am lucky enough to have had certain people in my life to keep my head up when it came to writing a paper or further my focus on becoming a Secondary English Teacher. I have learned so much from many of these wonderful people, whether it was a teacher, friend, or family member, I have been truly blessed to have the opportunity to be where I am at right now and allow for you to see what my life has been like through my writing process. Literacy, HERE I COME!
